I build operational businesses. Not just teams or products. The full thing, from zero.
I'm Mark J. Mason, a CEO and founder with 14 years of experience building and scaling digital ventures across the U.S. and Latin America. I founded Shellshock in 2013, scaled it to $5M ARR, and sold it to Onar Corp in 2021. I co-founded Aftershock in 2021, which now operates at $1M ARR. I built The Bridge's Ecuador operation from the ground up, scaling from 5 to 50+ employees in under 12 months on a $2.2M operational budget, and helped create the brand positioning that made the company attractive to North Highland, who acquired it in 2024. And in 2025, I launched Latam Hire, a nearshore staffing firm that reached $320K ARR in its first two months.
My work sits at the intersection of business strategy, digital product, and operational execution. I have owned P&L, closed enterprise deals, hired and structured teams across the U.S. and Latin America, and led a company through a full M&A process as the founding CEO. I am equally comfortable in a boardroom, a client pitch, and a hiring interview.
House of MJM is the through-line across everything I have built. A venture design lab, established 2013, and the home base for what comes next.
